SCUBA Cylinders require hydostatic testing and re-certification every 12 months to conform to Australian Standards.
Breathing Apparatus Cylinders require testing every three years for some hoop wrapped cylinders and every five years for composite and steel cylinders.
Storage banks require testing every five years for non-fixed cylinders and every ten years for permanently-fixed cylinders.
Testing is carried out by a Registered Test Station and all cylinder testing includes an air fill with Breathing Air Certified to AS1715 amd AS2299. Cylinder Testing is performed to Australian Standards AS2030, AS2337, and standards specified in the Manufacturer’s specifications.
